Getting Started
Create an organization, install the GotNext Discord bot, and launch your first competition.
GotNext is a Discord-first competition platform for community organizers. Use the web workspace to configure your organization, tournaments, ladders, ranked queues, XP, and achievements. Competitors can handle many day-to-day actions from Discord.
Install GotNext
- 1
Create your account
Create a GotNext account or sign in, then choose Add to Discord from the Discord bot page.
- 2
Connect Discord
Authorize Discord and select a server where you have Manage Server.
- 3
Choose the organization
Every connected server belongs to an organization. GotNext creates one when you do not have an eligible organization. If you manage more than one, choose the organization that should own the server.
- 4
Launch a competition
Create a ranked queue, tournament, or ladder. Organizers configure competitions on the web; competitors use Discord and shared competition links.
New Discord servers include 20 Premium Elo matches with no card and no time limit.
Choose what to run
Create Elo queues, automate matchmaking, report results, and publish leaderboards in Discord.
TournamentsRun bracketed events with registration, check-in, match reporting, and Discord actions.
LaddersRun ongoing ranked competition with challenges, standings, and Discord actions.
How organizers and competitors work
Organizers manage settings, brackets, standings, staff access, disputes, XP, achievements, and billing from the organization workspace. GotNext does not advertise competitions for organizers. Share your tournament or ladder URL in your own Discord, social channels, and community spaces.
Competitors can run /gotnext in Discord to view active tournaments and ladders, register or join
eligible solo competitions, check in, find matches, report supported results, and view their
organization profile. Team registration and roster management remain on the web.
Review queue commands and the /gotnext tournament, ladder, and profile actions.
Create competition channels, route updates, and connect player roles.
Organization XP and achievementsReward activity across Discord queues, tournaments, and ladders.
